Dr. Potluri received his medical education at the University of Health Sciences in India. He completed his internship at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He subsequently completed his Neurology Residency at New York University Medical Center, New York, NY. During his residency, he trained at world class institutions including the Tisch Hospital at NYU Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital Center, Hospital for Joint Diseases and the VA Medical Center of Manhattan. He then stayed at NYU Medical Center to complete a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. He received expert training in advanced care of Epilepsy during his fellowship at the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, one of the largest such centers in the world. He also gained expertise in various neurophysiological tests including digital EEG, non-invasive and invasive video-EEG monitoring, functional brain mapping & WADA testing, as well as nerve conduction studies & electromyography and evoked potentials. He is also experienced in Neurosonology including Carotid Duplex & Trans Cranial Doppler tests.

Dr. Potluri is a caring and compassionate physician and enjoys clinical care in both the hospital and outpatient settings. He has a special interest in the care of patients with seizure disorders and with disorders of the muscles and nerves. He is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, with added Qualification in Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Potluri is actively engaged in providing inpatient neurological care to patients at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ as well as outpatient neurological services at Advanced Neurology Center in Bridgewater, NJ.
